The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics organized a webinar titled "Covid-19 and New Generation Biotechnological Vaccines" on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Assist. Prof. Cihan Taştan from Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics attended the event which held on Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application as a speaker. In the seminar attended by our students and graduates, updated information on the latest status of vaccines developed against the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, which has affected the whole world, was shared. Given the increasing mutation rates, ideas on new vaccine production strategies were discussed.
