Molecular Biology and Genetics Department organized an e-seminar titled “Leveraging 3D in vitro Models for Personalized Canser Treatment” on Friday, March 19, 2021. Dr. Nazende Gül Avcı (Deciduous Therapeutics) participated as a speaker. At the seminar, which was held over CATS with the participation of our students and alumni, up-to-date sharing was made on the latest techniques developed in cancer treatments, the rate of which is increasing day by day. Using 3D cell models, the advantages and disadvantages of personalized therapy and the evolution of classical cancer treatment methods were discussed.
