A presentation, explaining the activities of TTO to the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBİGEN), was made by İKÜ Technology Transfer Office Manager Cüneyt Genç, TTO Deputy Director Alparslan Güzey, University-Industry Cooperation Expert Dr.

The Founding Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBİGEN), our esteemed teacher Prof. Dr. Atilla Özalpan was commemorated with the event held on the 12th year of his passing away. The event, which was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, was attended by two of the previous rectors of our university, Member of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr Tamer Koçel and Prof. Dr Dursun Koçer, Head of the Department of Physics, with their speeches titled "An Organization Story: Molecular Biology and Genetics". 

The project titled "Determination of DNA Methylation Profiles of Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr] Boron Transport Genes under Boron Stress", led by Assist. Prof. Sinan Meriç from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBİGEN), was deemed entitled to receive funds with the call code 223Z207 as a part of the "TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Module".  We congratulate the IKU faculty member and wish them further success in their project.
