Three "TUBITAK 2209-A" project applications for the second semester of 2022, in which Ela Gündüz and Zeynep Özsalman, students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN), participated under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Özge Rencüzoğulları; Mustafa Atakan, Asena Aydın and Buket Özcan participated under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Pelin Özfiliz Kılbaş; while Selin Beri, Sena Dilara Yalçın and Elif Naz Karabay, participated under the supervision of Res. Assist. Dr. Sinan Meriç, were accepted.

The Founding Head of Department of the Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN) , and our very valuable professor Prof. Dr. Atilla Özalpan was commemorated with an event held on the 11th anniversary of his passing. The event, which was held on Wednesday, March 15, was attended by Prof. Dr. Cengiz Çakmak, in which he gave a speech titled “Earthquake and Philosophy”.
