The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics held an event titled “Genetics of Cosmos” on Saturday, 10 December 2022, in which Assist. Prof. Sinan Aliş from Istanbul University, our Department of Physics postgraduate student Dilara Kaplanoğlu, and our MOBIGEN student Derya Deniz were the speakers.
The project of Assist. Prof. Özge Rencüzoğulları, from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, titled "Investigation of Mirna-mediated Drug Susceptibility Targeting Hippo and Wnt Signaling Pathways in Three-Dimensional Cell Models of Gemcitabine-Resistant Pancreatic Cancer" (MOBIGEN), was granted the opportunity of monetary aid under the TÜBİTAK 1002 Rapid Support Program. We congratulate our professor and wish them good luck in their project.
Four TÜBITAK 2209-A applications for the first semester of 2022 were accepted, in which İrem İnce, Arda Güney, Sude Danışman, Miray Nur Aksalih, Emir Gönç, Seda Nur Özer, Eray Kalabalıkoğlu, Hamza Kadir Tamirci, Mehmet Eren Yorulmaz and Berkay Kahraman of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics took part as coordinators and Assist. Prof. Özge Rencüzoğulları, Assist. Prof. Alp Ayan, Dr. Burcu Ayhan Şahin, and Assist. Prof. Pelin Özfiliz Kılbaş were the advisors. We congratulate our advisors and students and wish them continued success.
