The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN) held a “Department Orientation Meeting” on Monday, October 3, 2022 to prepare the newly registered students for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. At the meeting where the academic staff of the department was introduced, Assist. Prof. Alp Ayan made a presentation about registering to the courses, how to use the CATS website, about the regulations and the life at the campus.

A detailed information seminar on "Occupational Health and Laboratory Biosafety Rules" was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, for students working in the research laboratory of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN). At the seminar given by IKU Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Cumhur Gültekin and one of the academicians in MOBIGEN Res. Assist. Sinan Meriç, the working conditions of research laboratories and the rules to be observed while working in the laboratory environment were explained in detail.

One of the academicians of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBIGEN), Assist. Prof. Özge Rencüzoğulları and Assist. Prof. Pelin Özparmak Kılbaş attended the “I. International Advances in Molecular Biology Congress” as invited speakers. Our professors presented the results of their studies in the field of Molecular Biology of Cancer at the congress.
